The Sharp PS-935 is a portable party speaker that rolls to wherever the party is. A 2-way system pairs dual 6.5-inch woofers with a 1.5-inch tweeter, and the Enhance BASS effect fills a basement, a garage or a school gym without the mud you get from cheaper portables. Flashing LED and strobe lighting is built in — eight disco modes on a single button, or off completely when you just want the music. At 18.73 pounds it has enough weight behind it to hold its sound, and the luggage-style handle and wheels mean one person moves it alone.
It is a portable karaoke machine too. Two 6.3 mm (1/4-inch) microphone terminals let two people sing at once, a wired microphone is included in the box, and Echo, Bass and Treble knobs sit right on the top panel. That makes it a Bluetooth speaker with a microphone already in the carton — you are not buying a mic separately. Microphone Priority Mode drops the music the moment someone starts singing, and the mic input stays live in every mode — Bluetooth, USB, FM or Aux. This is the adult version of a karaoke machine, and a complete karaoke system in one box: 50 W RMS and real drivers, not a plastic box with a screen and two toy mics.
Bluetooth 5.2 handles the phone — Sharp rates the link at 32 feet (10 metres) in open air, and the speaker shows up as “PS-935 SHARP” when you pair. USB plays MP3 files straight off a stick (FAT16 or FAT32, up to 32 GB), a 3.5 mm Aux input takes anything with a headphone jack, and a built-in FM tuner with 30 presets and a blue backlit display covers the ball game. The 7.4 V 5,000 mAh lithium-ion battery gives roughly 4.5 hours of playback and recharges in about 4.5 hours; the AC adapter is in the box, so for a longer night you plug it in.
